Prostate Cancer UK:

Prostate Cancer UK is launching the most ambitious fundraising appeal in our history. As an Appeal Manager, you will play a key role in driving this campaign forward—working closely with the Head of Appeal to coordinate plans, manage timelines, and ensure smooth communication across teams.

You’ll oversee the creation of campaign materials including website content, videos, newsletters, and donor communications to ensure a consistent and inspiring message. Acting as the central coordination point, you will keep resources organised and provide briefings and updates to senior leaders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate campaign timelines, milestones, and communications across fundraising, communications, finance, and programme teams
  • Manage development and quality control of appeal materials (digital and print)
  • Maintain up-to-date campaign documents, briefings, and resources accessible to stakeholders
  • Support planning and execution of events and meetings linked to the appeal
  • Prepare clear, engaging reports and briefings for senior leadership and external partners
  • Ensure effective communication flows and timely updates to all campaign participants

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience managing major fundraising appeals, capital campaigns, or working in high-performing fundraising teams
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear and engaging content
  • A collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships across teams
  • Passionate about making a difference, with a proactive and can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or professional qualification in fundraising, project management, marketing, or related fields
  • Experience with fundraising CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project) is advantageous
