Salary: £38,000–£41,000 per annum

About the Role:

As Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager, you will take the lead in managing and growing a diverse portfolio of major donors, trusts & foundations, and corporate partners. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships with supporters while identifying new funding opportunities.

This is a pivotal, strategic role for a results-driven fundraiser who thrives on autonomy, relationship-building, and delivering long-term income growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of warm and prospective major donors, trust/foundation funders, and corporate partners.
  • Develop and deliver tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans.
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals, reports, and presentations to secure new and renewed support.
  • Identify and research new prospects aligned with our mission and programmes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across communications, research, and services to shape propositions.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, track income targets, and contribute to fundraising strategy.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar fundraising or partnerships role.
  • Proven ability to develop high-value donor and corporate relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing funding proposals and cases for support.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organisational abilities.
  • Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for our mission and values, and a drive to deliver meaningful change.
